RP570 Driver Fact Sheet

  • Supports Master AND Slave modes. In Slave mode it is suitable to use to Make data from the SCADA available to the Central Network Master or using an OPC-OPC Bridge to send data from any OPC Server to the Network Master.

  • Fully event driven protocol & driver - high performance even on narrow bandwidth serial links

  • Remote time stamping - The RTU 2xx units are used mainly for 1 ms timestamped digital inputs which then need to be stored for POST - MORTEM analysis. This driver logs all ERMI time stamp information to CSV text files. The driver also incorporates ODBC ie. it logs the data directly to any data base eg. MS SQL Server or Oracle.

  • Time synchronises RTU's to PC time

  • Master & Slave Mode Protocols supported

  • Stand Alone OPC Server (OPC client receives remote ERMI time stamps)

Multi Drop RP571 Masterbaud rates from 300 to 115200, this protocol allows routing to subordinate networks, which may be used by a national control centre for example.
Multi DropRP570 SlaveYou configure blocks of memmory, & if you have set the protocol to 'Slave' the driver waits until the OTHER master polls and it then answers the polls with the contents of these memmory blocks. It is the responsibility of this SCADA to Write the correct data to these addresses.
